Scribble Drawings

 For my scribble drawings, I had a bit of a hard time getting each drawing to have the visual effect I imagined. I thought it might be because my pen was a bit too thick, and my drawings were too small for that thickness. However this was important to learn before starting my main project, as I would have not learned this technique of line weight even in scribbling. I tend to have a messier sketch style, so this style came more or less naturally to me. It was very fun to experiment with pens so freely. I then got some ideas for my project.

Bloom - Process

I wanted to create these hybrids of flowers and people, to show growth. I also wanted to evoke a sort of beautiful, peaceful, and graceful atmosphere, so I chose stock photos of dancers. I then found photos of flowers and collaged the two together, and make reference poses for my interest points. This is one example, however I had other attempts and trails while experimenting. Overall, these turned out perfectly for what I had in mind.
